Welcome to Antlers Etc!

Mountain living is quiet, warm, and deeply human.  It’s homes that breathe with the land, materials that grow better with time, and rituals that make a place feel like yours. This space is a companion for building a lived‑in mountain life—practical, textural, and enduring. Homes shaped by the land. Materials shaped by time. Lives shaped by the quiet rhythms of the seasons. Nor perfect rooms – lived-in ones.

Mountain living that feels like home.

Welcome to my corner of the mountains…

I grew up with Colorado in my bones—mountains that teach you to pay attention, seasons that ask you to adapt, and landscapes that remind you what matters. Later, Texas taught me warmth: hospitality that begins at the door, tables that gather people, and materials that feel better the more they’re used.
Mountain Living Editorial is where those two worlds meet.
I created this space because mountain living deserves more than clichés. It deserves honesty. Texture. Patina. Homes shaped by the land, not decorated to match it. Spaces that feel lived‑in, not staged. A life that feels both elevated and deeply human.
Here, I explore the beauty of materials that age well, the rhythm of mountain seasons, the rituals that make a home feel like yours, and the outdoor life that begins just beyond the back door.
If you’re drawn to warm interiors, honest materials, slow gatherings, and the lived‑in mountain life—you’re in the right place.

xoxo! Carrie
